Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Thursday released financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to families of 2463 servitors of Puri Srimandir in view of COVID-19 situation.
The SJTA administrator (rituals), in a video message, informed that a total of Rs 2,46,30,000 has been sanctioned as assistance for the servitors of Shree Jagannath Temple.
The Niti Administrator said as the Srimandir remains closed for public darshan the Jagannath Temple Administration is extending all possible help to the servitors and their families to meet their daily expenses.
