Bhadrak: In view of gathering of people at different Shiv temples during New Year, the Bhadrak district administration has imposed Section-144 in and around Baba Akhandalamani Temple in Bhadrak.
Reportedly, the shrine will remain closed for general public darshan for 3 days – from 6AM of December 31 till 8PM of January 2 – over apprehension of large congregation of devotees during New Year.
During the period, people will not be allowed to visit tourist places, different religious institutions and religious functions in the district to prevent transmission of COVID-19 amid Omicron variant scare.
