Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Sunil Ambekar has commented on the growing discussion surrounding the viral social media phenomenon known as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), saying that differing opinions and public debates are a normal and healthy part of a democratic society.

The remarks come at a time when the satirical online movement has attracted significant attention across social media platforms, particularly among younger audiences. The Cockroach Janta Party has gained a large digital following and has become a subject of political and public debate.

Ambekar Highlights Strength of Indian Democracy

Speaking on the issue, Sunil Ambekar said India’s democratic framework is strong enough to accommodate diverse viewpoints and discussions.

According to him, transparent elections, a free media ecosystem, and active social media platforms provide citizens with multiple opportunities to express their opinions.

He noted that public discussions and differing perspectives should not be viewed as surprising developments but rather as natural features of a vibrant democracy.

Faith in India’s Youth and Democratic Institutions

Ambekar also expressed confidence in India’s younger generation, often referred to as Gen Z. He said young people remain hopeful about the future and have faith in the country’s democratic institutions.

He emphasized that India’s democratic system has the capacity to include different voices and emotions while maintaining social and political stability.

The RSS leader added that democratic institutions, political parties, and the media are capable of addressing issues that emerge in public discourse.

Cockroach Janta Party Remains in Spotlight

The Cockroach Janta Party has emerged as one of the most talked-about online movements in recent weeks. Supporters describe it as a satirical platform reflecting the views and concerns of younger citizens.

The development has generated mixed reactions across the political spectrum. While some political leaders and public figures have expressed support for the movement, others have questioned its intentions and influence.

The controversy has also led to legal and regulatory discussions, with certain aspects of the matter reportedly being examined through official channels.

RSS Says Institutions Can Handle Democratic Debates

Addressing questions about whether the RSS should directly intervene in such debates, Ambekar said India’s democratic institutions are fully capable of managing discussions and disagreements through established processes.

He stressed that political parties, media organizations, and public institutions are strong enough to address emerging issues without requiring immediate intervention from every organization.

According to him, democracy functions best when citizens freely participate in discussions while institutions continue to perform their roles effectively.

Growing Conversation Around Public Expression

The debate surrounding the Cockroach Janta Party highlights the growing role of social media in shaping public conversations, especially among younger generations.

As discussions continue online and offline, Ambekar’s remarks underline the importance of respecting diverse viewpoints while maintaining confidence in democratic institutions and constitutional processes.

The issue is expected to remain a topic of public interest as conversations around digital activism, youth participation, and democratic engagement continue to evolve.
