A major sex racket operating in Jhirpani Panchayat under Bisra Block in Rourkela Police Station has been busted.
The local police, led by Officer Pradeep Kumar Nayak of Jhirpani Police Station, carried out the raid following special intelligence reports. The racket, which had been running for a considerable period, finally fell into the police’s net.
During the raid, the police arrested five women, a broker, and the house owner involved in the illegal activities. This revelation comes as a surprise to many, considering that the racket had operated under the radar for so long. Officer Nayak confirmed that an in-depth investigation is ongoing to uncover further details and connections.
