Odisha Govt Greenlights Rs 4,353 Cr Investments in 20 Projects, Creating 7,815 Jobs

With a strong emphasis on youth employment, balanced regional development, and sustainable industrialisation, Odisha is steadily moving toward its long-term vision of building a prosperous and thriving state by 2036.

In a major boost to its industrialisation efforts, the state has approved investments worth ₹4,353 crore for 20 projects, projected to create over 7,815 job opportunities for the youth across 11 districts. The recent 142nd State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting highlights the state’s commitment to accelerating industrial growth and nurturing a future-ready workforce.

Chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Ahuja, the 142nd SLSWCA approved 20 projects across 11 districts, with a total investment of ₹4,352.87 crore. These projects, spanning sectors such as chemicals, electronics, aluminium, tourism, infrastructure, IT services, power and renewable energy, and food processing, will benefit districts including Angul, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Puri, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh.

These approvals underscore the state government’s proactive approach to attracting quality investments, ensuring seamless facilitation, and enabling industries to establish and expand with ease. By distributing industrial projects across various districts, Odisha is promoting balanced regional growth while creating new employment opportunities for its young population.
