Rise and Fall Season 2 is expanding its contestant line-up with the addition of Tej Pratap Yadav, Sara Gurpal, Kajal Raghwani, Niharika Tiwari and Kaira. They join previously announced contestants Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Karan Patel, Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla.
Hosted by Virender Sehwag, the reality show revolves around a power struggle between Rulers and Workers. Contestants positioned as Rulers enjoy the privileges of the Penthouse, while Workers live in the Basement and compete to change their positions.
Sara Gurpal, Kajal Raghwani Enter The Power Game
Sara Gurpal, known for her work in Punjabi entertainment, and Bhojpuri actor Kajal Raghwani bring their respective entertainment backgrounds to the reality show.
Their entry adds more variety to a line-up featuring personalities from television, films, reality shows and public life.
Niharika Tiwari, Kaira Return To Reality TV
Former Splitsvilla contestants Niharika Tiwari and Kaira are also joining the second season.
Their announcement videos hint at an existing equation between the two contestants. Kaira takes a dig at Niharika’s accent and appearance, while Niharika responds by warning her that she cannot rely only on her familiar style to progress in the competition.
Their previous equation could come into play as contestants navigate alliances, challenges, votes and changing positions inside the show.
Tej Pratap Yadav Enters Rise and Fall Season 2
Tej Pratap Yadav, son of veteran Bihar politician Lalu Prasad Yadav and a former Bihar minister, is another prominent addition to the line-up.
In his entry video, Tej Pratap uses the imagery of a banyan tree to describe his strength, saying his roots are stronger than his branches. He also says he intends to establish his own “darbaar” in the Penthouse and rule over contestants in the Basement.
He further declares, “Humara parivaar pura Bihar hai,” bringing a distinct personal and political-family reference to his introduction.
Rise and Fall Season 2 Premiere Date, Streaming Details
With 15 celebrities set to compete, Rise and Fall Season 2 will feature shifting power equations as contestants attempt to move between the Basement and Penthouse.
The second season will premiere on September 26 and will stream for free on Prime Video and MX Player. New episodes will be available daily at 12 pm.
