A violent clash erupted in Talakanpada village, Bhadrak, as rival factions engaged in a brutal confrontation believed to be fueled by political enmity.

The incident, which occurred on the night of April 16, involved a crude bomb attack, leaving at least seven people injured.

According to reports, two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle launched bombs at a roadside gathering before fleeing the scene. In response, Bhadrak police registered cases from both sides and launched a thorough investigation. A forensic team inspected the site, uncovering debris and explosive traces that indicated the intensity of the attack.

Arrests & Security Measures: Authorities have arrested four individuals from opposing factions, presenting them before the court. Meanwhile, security measures have been intensified across the district to prevent further violence. The attack has raised concerns about rising political tensions in the lead-up to the election season, prompting local leaders to urge restraint.

As investigations continue, officials are working to identify additional suspects and prevent further escalation.
