Bhubaneswar: After the Ratna Bhandar, the treasure trove of Puri Srimandir, was opened on July 14 (Sunday) after more than four decades, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that the first step of the opening process was successful due to the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath.
Taking to his X handle, the Odisha CM posted: “Jai Jagannath! After 46 long years today, the Ratna Bhandar of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath has been opened. The people of Odisha have been longing for many years for the protection of the valuable jewels of Mahaprabhu. Today, the work of the first step has been completed with the blessings of the Mahaprabhu. This would not have been possible without the blessings of the Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath.
Our government is indebted to the people of Odisha for how all the people have supported this initiative of the government. Thank you Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Administrator of Srimandir, Ratna Bhandar Inspection Committee, Srimandir Administration, District Administration, and Media for playing their role with determination and devotion.
