Cuttack: Professor Sanjay Kumar Nayak, who is currently serving as the Director-General of CIPET, Chennai, was on Friday appointed as new Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University.
“In exercise of powers conferred by Sub Section(1) read with Sub Section (7) of Section 6 of Odisha Universities (Amendment) Act 2020, Hon’ble Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Odisha Prof. Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof. Sanjay Kumar Nayak as Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University,” read a Government notification.
Nayak will serve as the VC of the Ravenshaw University for a period of four years with effect from the date he assumes office.
