President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district on June 19 and 20.
President Murmu will arrive on June 19 for a two-day tour. She will land in Bhubaneswar by a special aircraft and then travel to Rairangpur by Air Force helicopter. She will attend programs in Rairangpur and Pahadpur, her in-laws’ village.
Prime Minister Modi will reach Odisha on June 20. He will arrive by a special aircraft and then fly to Rairangpur by helicopter. President Murmu will welcome him. Both leaders will participate in foundation stone laying ceremonies and inaugurations of new projects, including a newly built stadium and development works in Bamanghati subdivision.
Mayurbhanj MP Naba Charan Majhi confirmed the visit details. He stated that several projects will be launched during the tour, bringing joy to residents of Mayurbhanj. Sources indicated that announcements of new schemes may also be made.
