President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu extended heartfelt greetings to citizens and followers of Bhagwan Buddha worldwide on the eve of Buddha Purnima.
In her message, the President highlighted the sacred significance of the day, which marks the birth, enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana of Bhagwan Buddha. She emphasised that his eternal teachings of compassion, non-violence, peace, and knowledge continue to guide humanity.
President Murmu noted that in a world facing multiple challenges, the ideals of Bhagwan Buddha inspire people to walk the path of tolerance, peace, and mutual harmony. She urged citizens to imbibe his values and contribute to building a peaceful, inclusive, and just society.
