The Odisha Government received 3,17,966 new applications under the Subhadra scheme, according to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
She shared the update after reviewing the latest progress report on beneficiary verification and digital activation.
Officials confirmed that 82,036 applicants have been marked for DBT activation, while biometric e-KYC remains pending for 28,611 individuals. The Deputy Chief Minister instructed departments to expedite verification and ensure all field inquiries are completed by July 25.
The Subhadra scheme continues to draw strong public response across districts, with teams conducting door-to-door checks to validate eligibility. Authorities are coordinating with local administrations to streamline data collection and resolve technical issues related to e-KYC.
Parida emphasised transparency and timely disbursement under the scheme, urging officials to maintain accuracy in beneficiary records. She also reviewed progress on digital payment integration and directed that all pending cases be cleared within the stipulated timeline.
