Sonepur: Police on Friday seized a huge cache of Ganja in Sonepur and arrested a person in this connection. The arrestee has been identified as Dalvir Singh of Firozpur in Punjab.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the vehicle. Upon search found 1.80 quintal ganja and seized it. The cops arrested the driver of the vehicle. However, the mastermind of the illegal trade managed to escape from the spot.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused in this regard, sources said.
