The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha today announced the results of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 64.48%.
According to the official press note, a total of 97,151 candidates had registered for the examination held on July 5, while 84,731 appeared and 12,420 remained absent. Of these, 53,314 candidates qualified.
In Paper I, 17,065 candidates cleared the test with a 68.28% pass rate, while Paper II saw 36,249 qualifiers at 60.68%.
The results are available on the Board’s website www.bseodisha.nic.in from 6 PM onwards. Candidates can log in using their user ID and password or date of birth to check their scores.
Qualified candidates can download their digitised certificates from September 7 (11 AM onwards) upon payment of fees, while those who did not qualify can access their OMR answer sheets between September 5 and 12.
The OTET serves as a key eligibility test for aspiring teachers seeking appointments in government and private schools across Odisha.
