With the deadline just three days away, Odisha’s Special Summary Revision Campaign has entered its decisive final phase. Election officials are racing against time to deliver a clean, accurate, and fully updated voter list for the state.
According to the latest data from the Chief Electoral Officer’s (CEO) office, 99.93% of voters — a remarkable 3 crore 33 lakh 7,545 people — have already received their Enumeration Forms. Field teams are working day and night to reach the remaining tiny percentage of voters.
At the same time, the digitisation drive is moving at full speed. 93.84% of voter data — covering 3 crore 13 lakh 42,794 individuals — has already been digitised, bringing the state closer to a modern, error-free electoral roll.
To ensure no eligible voter is left behind, coordination meetings were held today across every Assembly constituency between Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs). The single-point agenda: finish all pending work on a war footing before the campaign closes.
The CEO has issued a clear appeal to all voters who have not yet submitted their forms: Visit your local booth-level office immediately and submit the form without delay.
This massive exercise is not just about numbers — it is about strengthening democracy at its roots. A clean and updated voter list means every eligible citizen’s voice will be heard accurately in future elections.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of BLOs, administrative teams, and active public participation, the campaign is on track for historic success. Authorities have assured that the remaining work will be completed within the next three days so that no eligible name is missed.
