Odisha Logs Highest Single-Day Covid Deaths; Toll Nears 3000 Mark

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Sunday reported the highest Covid deaths in the last 24 hours. As many as 42 more Covid patients have succumbed to the deadly disease, informed the Health and Family Welfare department.

The details of the deaths have been shared by the department.

Four deaths each have been reported from Khordha, Cuttack and Angul districts.Three deaths reported from Boudh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi districts. Two deaths reported each from Gajapati,Mayurbhanj, Sundergarh, Jagatsinghpur and Rayagada districts. One each reported from Bargarh, Ganjam, Jajpur,Kandhamal, Puri, Koraput,Malkangiri and Nuapada districts respectively.

1.A 44 years old female of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

2.A 70 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease.

3.A 85 years old male Angul district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

4.A 60 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

5.A 55 years old male of Baragarh district.

6.A 67 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & post Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting.

7.A 52 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid, Dyslipidemia & Hypothyroidism.

8.A 62 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

9.A 60 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

10.A 60 years old female of Boudh district.

11.A 35 years old male of Boudh district.

12.A 36 years old male of Boudh district.

13.A 57 years old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Cronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension & Dilated Cardiomyopathy.

14.A 56 years old male of Cuttack district.
