Odisha Govt Transfers OAS Officers Including Five BDOs

In a series of administrative notifications issued today, the Government of Odisha has effected transfers and postings for several Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, including Block Development Officers (BDOs) across various districts.


The General Administration & Public Grievance Department and the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department have issued separate notification into the effects.

Saradakanti Dalal, OAS Gr.A (SB), Under Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Officer, State Pollution Control Board, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Shiv Shankar Mishra, OAS Gr.A (SB), whose services have been placed with the FE & CC department for his further posting in the State Pollution Control Board, Odisha UoT as PA, ITDA, Karanjia, Mayurbhanj, has been now posted as PA ITDA, Keonjhar. The GA&PG Department cancelled a prior notification (No. 27362/SCS dated 11/08/2025) that had placed Shiv Shankar Mishra as OAS Gr.A (SB) in a posting at No.27362/SCS.

In a parallel notification from the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, five OAS officers serving as BDOs have been transferred to new postings effective immediately. The transfers are as follows:

  1. **Gangaram Budek**: From BDO, Tarava UoR & R&DM Department to BDO, Tarava.
  2. **Jugal Kishore Biswal**: From BDO, Kutra to BDO, Boudh.
  3. **Gopinath Khaka**: From BDO, Similiguda UoT as BDO, Tarava to BDO, Kutra.
  4. **Suman Sudha Kundu**: From BDO, Bolagarh UoR to R & DM to BDO, Bolagarh.
  5. **Seetal Agrawal**: From UoT as BDO, Bolagarh to BDO, Pattamundai.

Officials concerned have been instructed to join their new postings without delay.
