Odisha Govt Transfers 10 OAS Officers, Several Deputies Posted as BDOs

The Odisha Government has issued a fresh transfer order, reassigning ten Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers across various districts, with many of them placed under the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water (PR & DW) Department for further posting as Block Development Officers (BDOs).


According to the Revenue and Disaster Management Department notification, Deputy Collector of Deogarh, Anjuni Kujur, has been placed with the PR & DW Department for posting as BDO, while Sharadha Suman, Deputy Collector of Mayurbhanj, has been transferred as Deputy Collector, Baripada under the Sub-Collector’s office.

Similarly, Kshamanidhi Bhoy, Ex-BDO of Naktideul (Sambalpur), has been placed under the GA & PG Department for further posting. Officers Nitushree Meher (Padampur, Bargarh), S.K. Nasim (Nuapada), Sameer Kumar Patro (Nawarangpur), Jayajagat Sahu and Sarthak Sourav Mohapatra (both from OSDMA, Bhubaneswar), and Subhankari Sudeshna Dash (Mayurbhanj) have all been placed with the PR & DW Department for posting as BDOs. Bibekananda Mishra, Deputy Collector of Boudh, has also been moved under the same department.

The department has directed controlling officers to relieve the transferred officials immediately to enable them to join their new postings.
