Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Campaigns for BJP in Assam’s Sonari and Mariani

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday participated in election campaigning activities in Assam. Majhi campaigned for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in the Sonari and Mariani Assembly constituencies.


Addressing the media on the occasion, Majhi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the welfare of every section of society in Assam is being ensured.

Majhi noted that the BJP government has undertaken significant initiatives in the areas of poverty alleviation and overall development in the state.

Recalling the support extended during elections, Majhi stated, “Himanta Biswa Sarma campaigned in Odisha during the 2024 elections to ensure our victory. This time, I have come here to campaign for his victory.”

Majhi added that the faith of the people of Assam in the BJP is growing stronger and expressed confidence that a ‘double engine’ government would be formed again in Assam.
