For the special occasion, Nita Ambani wore a handcrafted Banarasi brocade Kaduwa saree created by master artisans over a period of five months. The intricate weave showcased the richness of India’s centuries-old textile heritage and the precision involved in traditional handloom artistry.
The saree featured detailed brocade work and luxurious textures that reflected classic Banarasi craftsmanship while maintaining a refined modern appeal.
She paired the saree with a gold Chantilly lace blouse designed by celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra. The blouse featured a graceful cowl-back silhouette, adding a contemporary touch to the traditional ensemble.
Rare Gemstone Necklace Becomes Highlight of the Evening
The highlight of Nita Ambani’s appearance was the stunning “Ratna Rivière” necklace created by renowned jewellery house Kantilal Chhotalal.
Personally curated by Nita Ambani, the necklace featured an exquisite arrangement of Burmese rubies, Colombian emeralds, white diamonds, and yellow diamonds sourced from her private collection.
Designed in the classic rivière style, the necklace formed a continuous flow of carefully matched gemstones, symbolising elegance, movement, and timeless luxury.
According to reports, several gemstones were specially studied and recut over time to achieve perfect harmony in brilliance, size, and proportion.
