Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) suspended Process Associate Nida Khan after serious allegations of sexual harassment and forced religious conversion surfaced at its Nashik branch.
The suspension letter dated April 9, 2026, stated that the company became aware of a “serious matter” involving Nida Khan, who joined TCS on December 27, 2021. HR Head Shekhar Kamble issued the order, revoking her network access and directing her to surrender all company assets. The letter instructed her not to report to any office or work remotely and warned that any breach of confidentiality would invite disciplinary action.
Nida Khan remains absconding as Nashik Police intensify efforts to trace her. Her husband, detained for questioning, reportedly disclosed her suspected whereabouts. A Nashik court is hearing her anticipatory bail plea today. The Maharashtra State Women’s Commission’s fact-finding committee continues its probe, marking the third day of inquiry.
The case involves allegations of sexual harassment, exploitation, and forced conversion targeting women employees aged 18 to 25. Nine FIRs have been registered, including one by a male employee alleging religious harassment. Complaints mention abuse of Hindu deities, forced consumption of non-vegetarian food, and coercion to follow specific religious practices.
