Bihar: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two more individuals, Pankaj Kumar Singh and Raju Singh, in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case in Patna on Tuesday.
Pankaj, a civil engineer from NIT Jamshedpur, allegedly stole the question paper during its transfer from Hazaribagh.
On July 12, the Patna High Court granted CBI custody of 13 individuals previously arrested by Patna police. The CBI plans to interrogate them alongside the alleged kingpin, Rocky, who is also in custody.
Rakesh Ranjan, alias Rocky, was earlier arrested by CBI in Nalanda, Bihar, and is considered the kingpin in the paper leak network. The CBI’s investigation has led to over a dozen arrests related to the leak and distribution of the NEET exam papers.
