A mysterious case has surfaced in Odisha after a woman’s body was found in a partially buried condition on the Kathajodi riverbed in Cuttack on Thursday.
The shocking discovery created panic in the area and immediately drew the attention of local residents and police officials. According to preliminary reports, the body is suspected to have surfaced after decomposition began underground. Investigators believe stray dogs may have dug up the sand-covered area, leading to the recovery of the body.
Soon after receiving information, Odisha Police personnel from Baranga police station reached the spot and started an investigation. The area was secured as officers began examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Senior police officials, including the Inspector-in-Charge and Superintendent of Police, also visited the location to supervise the probe.
