Kamakhyanagar: Two unidentified miscreants looted a woman in Dhenkanal district while she was returning after withdrawing money from an ATM.
As per reports, the woman, a member of Self Help Group withdrew about Rs 4 lakh from an ATM. While returning from the ATM, near Siarimalia two unidentified miscreants allegedly looted the cash from her and fled from the spot.
Afterwards, the woman filed a complaint in the police station in this connection. Based on the complaint registered, the police have launched an investigation to catch the thieves.
As the prevalence of the thieves in this area has been increasing these days, it has become a topic of public discussion.
