In a strategic administrative shift, Shri Mirdha Toppo, OAS (Super Selection Grade), has been appointed as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Mohan Chaaran Majhi.
The General Administration & Public Grievance Department issued the official notification on June 30, 2025.
Previously serving as Project Director, DUDA (District Urban Development Agency) in Keonjhar, Toppo’s reassignment to the CM’s office reflects the state’s focus on bolstering leadership within the highest echelons of governance.
The notification directs all relevant departments to circulate the order and initiate publication in the Odisha Gazette, signalling the start of Toppo’s new responsibilities in Bhubaneswar.
This transfer underscores the Odisha government’s ongoing administrative reorientation, placing experienced officers in pivotal roles that shape policy execution and governance at the highest level.
