New Delhi: Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar has been roped in by UNICEF to raise awareness on menstrual hygiene in India.
For the last four years, she has been relentlessly working on this issue through her non-profit advocacy platform Project Shakti.
UNICEF is advocating menstrual hygiene education for girls before their first period, sensitizing men and boys to be understanding and supportive and to open conversations about periods among other objectives.
Manushi too will be working on these through her social media platforms, tapping in the youth audience base.
