Man gets 10 years RI for raping minor girl in Kandhamal

Phulbani : A man was sentenced to 10 years of Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for raping a minor girl in Belghar of Kandhamal district in 2014. The verdict was handed down by Special Judge Samar Bilas Behera of the Phulbani POCSO Court on Wednesday, based on evidence. On January 16, 2014, the convict, Shankar Pradhan of Belghar police station area lured a minor girl from her home in the Belghar and outraged her modesty.
