Bollywood actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have officially revealed the name of their newborn daughter. In a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday, the couple announced that they have named their baby girl Saraayah Malhotra.
They shared a tender photograph featuring their daughter’s tiny feet, accompanied by the caption:
“From our prayers, to our arms… our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra सरायाह मल्होत्रा.”
The announcement sparked an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans, friends, and industry colleagues.
Although the couple did not share the inspiration behind the name, several sources suggest that “Saraayah” may be derived from the Hebrew name “Sarah,” meaning princess, aligning with the affectionate caption in their post.
A Look Back at the Baby Announcement
Sidharth and Kiara first revealed the arrival of their daughter on July 15, posting:
“Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl.”
Shortly after, they issued a second note requesting privacy during the early days of parenthood.
They wrote:
“We’re so grateful for all the love and wishes. As we begin this new journey, we hope to enjoy it intimately as a family. Please, no photos—only blessings.”
The couple, who married in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, in 2023, previously starred together in the hit 2021 film Shershaah.

Kiara Advani was last seen in War 2, starring alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film received mixed reactions. She is now preparing for her upcoming role in the Don remake, where she will star opposite Ranveer Singh.
Sidharth Malhotra recently appeared in Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Maddock Films, featuring Janhvi Kapoor in a pivotal role. His next release is a horror film co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia.
