Keonjhar: A 17-year-old national level kho kho player was found hanging in her residence in Nayadhanurjayapur under the Baria police station limit in Keonjhar district.
The deceased has been identified as Manika Nayak.
According to reports, the matter came to fore after Manika was spotted hanging on the ceiling of her room yesterday morning.
Nayak was rushed to Jhumpura hospital, however, doctors declared her brought dead.
While the reason behind such an extreme step is still unknown, Baria police are investigating the incident, said sources.
