Kishan was sold for more than 7 times his base price of Rs 2 crore and became the most expensive player after Shreyas Iyer at the Auction on Day 1.

Mumbai Indians did not retain Ishan Kishan ahead of the IPL mega auction with the franchise opting to retain Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron Pollard and Suryakumar Yadav.
