On the occasion of the 17th Civil Services Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a keynote address to Civil Servants at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The event will also feature the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration, recognising exceptional contributions by government officials.
A total of 16 awards will be distributed this year across three categories:
- Holistic Development of Districts
- Aspirational Blocks Programme
- Innovation
The awards honour Civil Servants for their tireless efforts toward citizen welfare and improving governance standards. Prime Minister Modi has consistently encouraged officials to remain committed to public service and strive for excellence in their work.
The event is set to highlight policy innovations, district-level governance improvements, and the role of bureaucracy in ensuring efficient administration across India.
