Indian cricketer Akash Deep started a new chapter in his life with a beautiful wedding to Akshita Raj in Varanasi.
The right-arm pacer shared photos and videos from the ceremony on Instagram, expressing his joy and gratitude.
“Ready to play the longest and most beautiful innings together. As we begin this new chapter, I know that with you as my partner, every day will feel like a win,” Akash captioned his post, which featured glimpses of the ceremony and photo shoot.
The celebrations began in Baddi, Akash’s hometown in Bihar’s Rohtas district, before culminating in the grand Varanasi wedding. Family, friends, and several celebrities attended the event, including Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh. Akshita hails from Manikpur in Dehri.
Akash later shared more photos, describing the wedding as “two legends walking out for their forever innings.” The posts captured the couple’s happiness and the festive spirit surrounding the occasion.
The 29-year-old cricketer made his international debut against England in the Ranchi Test in 2024, where he dismissed Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, and Zak Crawley in quick succession. He last played for India during the England tour in 2025. Akash was slated to represent Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2026 IPL season but missed out due to a back injury.
