Christchurch: The fans of India vs New Zealand have the worst news possible. With heavy rain continuing in Hamilton, the umpires have called off the match. Only 12.5 overs of game was possible on Sunday before the match came to a halt. The washout means India fail to level the series. India also cannot win the series anymore as they are 0-1 down. The 3rd ODI is in Christchurch.

Despite the rains, we saw some classy batting from Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav as India raced away to 89/1. Persistent rains made sure that the match was called off. This means our coverage ends, but we will return on Wednesday when India reaches Christchurch for third and final ODI.
