Chandigarh: Tawadu (Mewat) DSP Surendra Singh Bishnoi was allegedly crushed to death by an illegal mining gang at Nuh’s Pachgaon, near Gurugram.
According to reports, the DSP, following reliable inputs about illegal mining near Pachgaon, went to the location.
He signalled a stone-laden truck to slow down, but the driver instead sped up and ran him over, reports said.
The DSP died on the spot and his body was found in an open dumpster.
While the accused is on the run, police have launched a search operation.
