Bhanjanagar: The body of a minor girl who went missing yesterday was recovered from the village pond in Diliba village under Bellaguntha police station in Ganjam district on Friday.
As per reports, the girl went missing yesterday after the 11th day of rituals for her grandfather’s death. Her family members searched for her everywhere but could not find her.
Today, her body was found floating on the village pond. It is suspected that she has been murdered and thrown away into the pond.
