New Delhi: Despite being fully vaccinated, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Kunwar Danish Ali has tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. He shared the news on his Twitter saying that despite being fully vaccinated, he contracted the virus.
The Parliamentarian said that he attended the ongoing session of Parliament till Monday and urged others who came into his contact to get tested and isolate themselves. The BSP MP also added that he was having mild symptoms and hoped to recover soon.

This comes at a time when the country is also reporting cases of the newly-detected Coronavirus variant Omicron.
The Union Health Ministry on Tuesday said, as many as 200 patients in India have been diagnosed with the Omicron variant so far. Out of this, 77 patients have recovered or migrated.
