Paradip: A number of fishermen are struggling to swim ashore after a fishing boat in which they were fishing capsized at sea mouth at Paradip. The fishermen are struggling amid high tide to save themselves.
Fellow fishermen also swung into action to rescue them. Marine police and Indian coast guard also launched operation to rescue the fishermen.
The Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) is also coordinating with the rescue team
“Coast Guard has launched operation to rescue fishermen trapped inside sea at Paradeep. Fire & Emergency Services is providing support. SRC Satyabrata Sahu coordinating with the team”, SRC posted on X.
