‘Dangerous’ Man Trained In China, Pakistan Entered Mumbai, Alerts NIA

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has informed Mumbai Police to be alert via email, saying that a dangerous man has entered the financial capital of the country. The investigating agency has been on alert since it received this input.

The NIA mentions the word “dangerous” in its email asking Mumbai Police to be alert. In its email, the NIA mentioned the name of the suspect as Sarfaraz Memon and said that he has reached Mumbai, sources told ABP News.

The nodal agency informed that this person is a resident of Indore, he has taken training in China, Hong Kong, and Pakistan and he is dangerous for India.

It has also sent his Aadhaar card, driving license, passport, and LC copy to Mumbai Police via email.

The Mumbai Police has further informed Indore Police about this.

This comes as the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested two persons on Saturday who were allegedly trying to go to Pakistan for weapons training. The statement released by the police informed that Khalid Mubarak Khan, 21, a resident of Thane West, Maharashtra, and Abdullah, 26, a resident of Tamil Nadu were arrested.

The duo was planning to illegally crossover to Pakistan for weapons training, the statement said further, as per news agency ANI.

“Both the accused persons were getting directions from a handler based in Pakistan and were planning to go to Pakistan for weapon training by illegally crossing the border,” Delhi Police mentioned in a statement, as per ANI.
