New Delhi: Congress will discuss on farmers’ issues, the Arnab Goswami chat leak and the coronavirus pandemic on January 22.
Party sources said the Congress Working Committee (CWC) will meet virtually and will be chaired by Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi.
The CWC will discuss Goswami’s alleged chat leak related to national security in the meeting including issues of farmers’ agitation and coronavirus.
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday had slammed the government over the three farm laws saying these are detrimental to Indian agricultural sector.
The party has assigned the job to Defence Minister A.K. Antony, ex-Home Minister Sushil Shinde, former Law Minister and External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid to confront the government over the alleged chat leaks involving Goswami.
