Couple End Lives By Jumping Before Train In Jajpur

Tomka: A couple allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train at Dhuliapasi near Tomka station in Jajpur on Wednesday.

The deceased couple has been identified as Nimai Charan Bai and his wife Janki Bai, residents of Ostapal village.

According to reports, the dead bodies of the duo were found on the railway tracks at Dhuliapasi this evening. Some locals spotted the bodies and informed Tomka police station.

An abandoned motorcycle and a handwritten note were also recovered from the spot.

The handwritten letter found from the deceased mentioned that Janki Bai, wife of Nimai Bai, had taken a loan of Rs. 30,000 from Pramila Jena of Harijan Sahi of her village and had given the amount to one Kalia of nearby Bagapatia village.

Pramila was repeatedly asking the couple to repay the amount she had lent them. But, when Kalia refused to repay the amount she failed to repay the same to Pramila, who allegedly hurled abuses after failing to get her money back.
