Bhubaneswar: In order to facilitate passes to a certain category of people allowed to move during the COVID-19 Lockdown period, the Twin City Commissionerate Police has introduced e-pass system.
The Police Commissionerate, in a press note, said that Odisha Government has imposed Lockdown and certain restrictions on movement of people. However, certain categories of people have been allowed to move with some conditions and restrictions.
Govt has allowed IT/ITeS, Banking services, and other private sectors engaged in essential activities. There is no requirement of pass to move within the restrictions mentioned guidelines. However, the Company/Org has to issue authorizations to individual employees which they can show at police check points.
In order to facilitate this, for IT/ITeS/Pvt companies allowed as per guidelines, a system has been developed to issue e-permission to their employees within the restrictions of allowable percentage of employees during Lockdown. For IT/ITes/Private Companies of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack only and only within Commissionerate Police jurisdiction.
This e-permission can be generated by visiting the website https://cp.erp.quocent.com/ . Automatically a copy will reach to DCPs Offices and no need for further stamping/receipt acknowledgement.
This tool has been developed by Quocent Pvt. Ltd in collaboration with Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
This e-permission should be carried along with id card. However, if e-permission has not been generated, then company /organization issued authorization letter (a copy must be emailed to DCP Office) needed to be carried along with id proof.
For others like shop keepers/salesman/workers etc. who have been permitted as per guidelines, they can show identity card and letter of employer or shop trading license or any document establishing that they are in permitted category.
