While the details of their conversation remain undisclosed, sources suggest the meeting was cordial and centred around health and goodwill.

According to reports, CM Majhi arrived at Naveen Niwas to personally inquire about Mr. Patnaik’s health, following his recent discharge from a private hospital nearby. The visit marks the first high-profile interaction between the BJP-led government and the opposition leader since the change in administration.

Shri Majhi posted on X:

“I met Leader of Opposition Shri Naveen Patnaik at his residence in Bhubaneswar and inquired about his health. I pray before Lord Jagannath for his speedy recovery and long life.”
