Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will attend India Maritime Week (IMW) 2025 in Mumbai from October 27 to 31, 2025. He will join the inaugural session tomorrow as the Guest of Honour. Later, he will attend the Odisha Special Session in the afternoon.

The session will focus on Odisha’s port-led investment opportunities and the state’s export potential through its sea ports.

Odisha’s Delegation at the Summit

A delegation from Odisha has already arrived in Mumbai. The team will engage with investors, maritime leaders, and industry experts. Odisha will showcase its initiatives in port infrastructure, logistics, fisheries, and maritime technology.

This participation highlights Odisha’s vision to become a hub for port-led industrial growth and coastal economic development.

About India Maritime Week

India Maritime Week is a leading national and international maritime summit. It brings together government leaders, policymakers, and industry experts. The focus is on port development, Blue Economy, and sustainable maritime trade.

The 2025 edition promotes collaboration, innovation, and investment in India’s maritime sector. It provides a platform for Odisha to present its port-driven industrial and export potential.

Odisha’s Port-Led Growth Vision

During the Odisha Special Session, the state will highlight:

  • World-class port infrastructure

  • New coastal development projects

  • Emerging maritime clusters

The session will also focus on investment opportunities in port-based industries, logistics, and fisheries. This reinforces Odisha’s commitment to strengthening India’s maritime trade ecosystem.

This visit coincides with the completion of 500 days of the current Odisha government under CM Mohan Charan Majhi, emphasizing inclusive development, industrial growth, and employment creation.

Invitation to Investors and Stakeholders

The Government of Odisha invites investors, industry leaders, and maritime professionals to explore its opportunities. With strategic ports, skilled workforce, and investor-friendly policies, Odisha aims to become a gateway for trade, innovation, and sustainable maritime growth.
