Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo & Pravati Parida today called on President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in New Delhi.
During the discussion, the Chief Minister requested both the President and the Vice President to visit Odisha to witness the famous Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu Jagannath in Puri.

The Chief Minister and his two deputies also met and discussed issues related to Odisha with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Odisha CM thanked the Prime Minister for attending the swearing-in ceremony himself and invited him to visit Odisha in the coming days.
The Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers also met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

“The discussions were focused on preparing a road map for a developed Odisha. As Odisha is completing 100 years of its formation in 2036, a road map will be prepared accordingly,” a communique issued by Odisha CMO read.
The Chief Minister also invited the Union Ministers to participate in the world-famous Rath Yatra in Odisha’s Puri.
