Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi assured Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar that the state would allocate land in Bhubaneswar for the establishment of Cognizant’s largest centre in India.
Ravi Kumar met with Chief Minister Majhi on the sidelines of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention held at Janata Maidan. The two discussed the development of a Cognizant campus in Bhubaneswar, which is set to be the biggest in India.
The Chief Minister expressed the state’s willingness to provide land within the city for the construction of Cognizant’s facility and promised full cooperation to ensure its success as the largest centre in India.
Ravi Kumar shared insights on the growth of Cognizant’s centre in Bhubaneswar and expressed optimism about its rapid expansion over the next five years.
Majhi also requested the support of Cognizant’s CEO in attracting further investments into the IT and ITeS sectors in Odisha. Ravi Kumar assured the Chief Minister that he would provide all necessary support to help the state government bring in investments and foster growth in the IT sector.
Additionally, the Chief Minister congratulated Ravi Kumar on receiving the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman that day.
