Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has pledged full education sponsorship for the children of Santosh Parida, who tragically lost his life following injuries sustained in a communal clash in Bhadrak’s Tihidi region.
On Wednesday, CM Majhi announced that the state government will bear the educational expenses of Parida’s children to ensure their future remains secure despite the tragic loss.
The Chief Minister also declared Rs 10 lakh financial aid to Parida’s family from the CM Relief Fund, along with a government job appointment for one family member to provide them stability.
Majhi reaffirmed his commitment to justice and law enforcement, vowing that exemplary action will be taken against those responsible for the violence that led to Parida’s death.
The communal clash in Bhadrak’s Tihidi police limits had escalated earlier this week, resulting in multiple injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident, and stringent action is expected against those found guilty.
The Chief Minister’s intervention aims to support the affected families and reinforce communal harmony in the region.
