Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced that he will return to India from the United States on June 6 to lead a peaceful protest in New Delhi.
The social media influencer and political activist is demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over recent controversies surrounding national examinations.
Dipke said the protest will be held at Jantar Mantar and will focus on concerns raised by students regarding examination management, paper leak allegations, and education system accountability.
Dipke Calls for Student Participation
In a video shared on social media platform X, Dipke urged students and young citizens to participate in the democratic movement.
According to him, millions of students have faced uncertainty due to issues related to competitive examinations, including NEET, CUET, CBSE examinations, and SSC recruitment tests.
He argued that accountability is necessary when large-scale disruptions affect students’ academic and career plans.
“The time has come for citizens to peacefully raise their voices and seek accountability through constitutional and democratic means,” Dipke said.
Protest Planned at Jantar Mantar
Dipke announced that he intends to arrive in Delhi on June 6 and seek official permission from authorities before holding the demonstration.
He stated that the movement would remain peaceful and follow all legal and constitutional procedures.
The planned protest is expected to bring together students, education activists, and supporters concerned about examination-related challenges faced by candidates across the country.
Concerns Over Examination System
The CJP founder highlighted concerns surrounding recent examination controversies and claimed that many students have experienced stress and uncertainty regarding their future.
He said that students deserve transparency, fairness, and efficient administration in educational and recruitment examinations.
The protest aims to draw attention to these concerns while encouraging public discussion on improving educational governance and accountability.
Dipke Says He Believes in Democratic Protest
Addressing concerns raised by family members and supporters, Dipke said he remains committed to peaceful democratic engagement.
He described himself as an admirer of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh, and Jawaharlal Nehru. He emphasized his belief in constitutional values and the right to peaceful dissent.
Dipke said democratic societies become stronger when citizens actively participate in public issues through lawful and non-violent means.
Rejected Job Opportunities to Return to India
Dipke also revealed that he had received several job opportunities in recent weeks but decided to return to India instead.
He stated that his decision was motivated by a desire to contribute to public discussions on education and student welfare.
According to Dipke, improving accountability within the education system is essential for protecting the interests of future generations.
Why the Protest Matters
The announcement comes amid ongoing debates surrounding examination reforms, student welfare, and transparency in India’s education sector.
As the June 6 protest approaches, attention is likely to remain focused on demands for accountability and improvements in examination administration.
Whether the protest influences policy discussions remains to be seen, but it has already sparked widespread conversation among students and social media users across the country.
