Bhubaneswar: Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Sunil Kumar Bansal has dismissed Boipariguda IIC from service after his arrest in a corruption case.
The dismissed police officer, identified as Sushanta Kumar Satpathy, had served as Boipariguda Police Station IIC. A huge amount of ill-gotten cash was seized from him earlier this week.
“In consonance with zero tolerance policy of the State Government towards corruption, DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal has dismissed tainted Inspector of Police Sushanta Kumar Satpathy from service under Article311(2)(b) of Indian Constitution following his arrest in a corruption case”, the Odisha Police informed.
