Ganjam: The dead body of a youth was found on railway tracks near Chatrapur railway stations in Ganjam district today.
The identity of the deceased was not known immediately.
Reportedly, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the body and informed the police about the same.
On intimation, the cops reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Locals suspected that the youth has committed suicide. However, the actual reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained.
A case of unnatural death has been registered and further investigation is underway into the matter, sources said.
