Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday named Pradip Purohit as its candidate for the upcoming Padampur Bypoll in Odisha.
Earlier on Friday, Leader of Opposition Jayanarayan Mishra informed that Purohit will file nomination for the bypoll on November 14.
It is pertinent to mention that the voting for the bypoll will be held on December 5 while results are scheduled to be declared on December 8.
